So with the impending world doom of ebola I thought it's an opportune time to stock up on things that will allow me to live happily with a tin hat on for longer than others, but how? So far all I've come up with is beans, water, beer and champagne (for the celebratory drinks when either I contract ebola or it disappears). The normal 'tinned tuna' etc doesn't interest me at all - what am I missing?

I made a start on my shelter (think anderson but a bit more comfortable) today. Ended up putting my back out. I quite like the basement they had in Tremors so a bit of concrete required also.

I shall be stocking up with the same things I did when there was the massive and and all consuming scare the last time a disease was going to wipe us all out :

Mad cow disease
Aids
Swine flu
Bird flu
Rabies
Hepatitis

Nothing!

More people will win on the lottery in the UK than will die from Ebola.

You'll need your solar panels so you have electricity when the grids shut down. Then you need a load of movies, porn and games.
