ps3 to ps4. account details?

Hi guys.
had my ps4 for a few weeks now and did the whole account transition setup from my ps3 with no issues. I'm due to sell the ps3 tomorrow but still has my sign in account on there. It says if i delete it i will lose all my data/trophies etc and worried it may disrupt it on the ps4?
is there a way of putting my ps3 back to it's out of the box state so that i don't lose my psn account?
