I am looking for a nice Griff. Does anyone know this Griff advertised on ebay? Unfortunately I am 5 hours drive away and will not be able to view prior to the end of the auction, so would be bidding blind, not ideal! Any help or information would be much appreciated.

Terrible pictures but IMHO Griffs look great in this colour.

The front wishbone that you can see looks somewhat corroded and this may (or may not) point to the condition of the outriggers. However, at the price it's currently at you could afford to replace wishbones and outriggers, or even the whole chassis, and still not be in it for too much £.

Shame it's so far out of the way for most of the UK.

Snap it up quick
It's a 'sport' and that makes it unique !

Seriously though...
If I was being picky I would wonder about the engine bay. What is all the crud up on the drivers inner wing.
The HT leads look old and crap and nothing is clean,
The floor carpet looks ratty.

These are cheap to sort so what other corners have been cut ?

There are no photos of the interior or the roof.

Just pointing these out so you go into it with your eyes open.

If the drivers door is closed the gap to the B post is of concern. I would want a very careful inspection before parting with hard earned. The dirtiest TVR engine bay I have ever seen!

yes i agree about the scruffy engine bay. No signs of fastidious ownership. The poor photos may be trying to hide something? May be better off waiting for the right one to come along. Thanks for the advice.

The owner doesn't know there's no such thing a 'sport' model, so it's either not his car, or he's an idiot, or both. That said it seems honest enough. Great washing.

Don't be a bunch of doom merchants, at 8 grand this is a no brainer. Of course if the price goes too high you might want to think again and you need to be prepared for some work, even a chassis change but a little bit of surface dirt never did anybody any harm. Pete

I Recieved a bid cancellation email
Was it real? A strange advert, as though the seller couldn't really give a fcensoredk. I was a watcher and the last I saw it got to £10,000 but then it just came back £0.99 No bids at the end.

I was in Cornwall that week and thought about popping by to have a look and report back but I couldn't see a phone number to contact the seller. Pete
