I do a fair wodge of miles for work, over 30k per year, and so the leasing rates quoted in the "Best lease deals thread"

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

are but a mere pipe dream, and will be for others in the same boat.

So I thought I'd start a thread for us motorway trudgers (normally found glued the back of a 911 in our 2.0 Tdis wishing you would get out of the way as we have to get to Kettering before the customer finishes sharpening his castration scissors.

As an example for the uninitiated, When I got my last lease, the car was advertised at a headline rate of 3 +35 @ £179pcm.
I have a 3+35 30k miles a year personal lease, 1k down including Maintenance.
It costs £409 a month, and the excess mileage is 10p per mile.

Is anyone looking at these sorts of miles on personal ( or business accepted with proof of car allowance)

Has anyone run the figures on a Golf R for 30k pa? hehe

I get Govt rates for Fuel, so 14pp. for the 2.0 oilburner becomes 24ppm for any petrol >2 litres

Just buy a used car?

I understand it a lot of people in your boat just get them clocked.... Very naughty.

VW CC GT's are very good for high mileage.

It will be the maintenance at 30k to kill it.

Do any websites do curiosity quotes (as opposed to the callback form quote) for higher mileages?
I found First Vehicle Leasing
http://www.firstvehicleleasing.co.uk/
but no others......

Nationwide do - it's how I got the quote for the Yeti. By the way, your thread title says 20k miles, but your post says 30k miles. Which is right?

In the meantime i have found allcarleasing.co.uk do up to 30k miles on their deal configurator and you can play with the term, mileage and deposit too!

Lovely.
