Some cheap bike kit

Sorry if this is a repost but thought it worth sharing. This company are closing down their retail business so have been reducing prices pretty seriously. There isn't loads left but there were a surprising number of Castelli bib shorts, tri suits, jackets etc in mens medium and large. I bought c£550 (presumably the RRP) of kit for c£180.

Nice one - only today I received a pair of Castelli Free Aero bib shorts from Evans for the (reasonable) price of £72 delivered. Now ive just ordered a similar pair of velocissimo bib shorts from Do3 for £54 delivered!

Ive just had the email saying the item i ordered isnt in stock "due to a computer error". Oh well, not the end of the world, and probably to be expected when the vultures descend on a shop thats closing down!

Yeah, I got my despatch email with the order intact too, even after the odd partial refund. Lucky me. Here's hoping Castelli's XL leg warmers are actually a 'real' L.

That's one thing that concerns me about Castelli stuff. I've ordered everyone as an L (which would be right) so we'll see. Jacket is an M though so a bit of a punt. My wife can have it if it's tiny.

They're massive, although I do have stumpy legs. Incredibly cosy though, and properly waterproof.

fwiw I'm 5'11 with 32" waist and std length 32" jeans and have XL Castelli bibshorts, all the (cheaper) brands I'm M

I'm screwed with size L stuff then! 32" waist when fit, which isnt now.

I re-checked my dispatch email that said the following has been distached and lsited all my items. Down teh bottom of the email (read on my iPhone) was an attachment titled 'invoice' according to that I'm not getting most of the stuff. Just the Castelli bib shorts and tri suit, whihc will be too small evidently! Oh well hopefully they go for a good price on eBay! However I have been billed for the entire amount so we shall see.

If they arrive, try them. I might have the shorts off you if they don't fit as I'm still losing weight fat

Im either 5'10 or 5'11 (must find out once and for all) and waist around 32 or a little bit more - ive just received my first castelli bib shorts, size Large, and they are very snug, but not uncomfortably so, so im happy to keep them rather than send back to try an XL.

I have medium-chunky legs for my height, which is very tall, so I'm hoping they fit. I just got back from a stormy ride in Nanoflex tights (XL) so I'm full sold on their performance.
