A good mate wants a new van. Done his research etc. Ford transit custom. Just what he wants is on display. "This one please" he says. He's offered a seat and out comes the paper work. It will be ready in 6 weeks he's told. Deposit paid, all good. Within hours he's got a call " sorry sir, 16 weeks" our mistake.
Gets his deposit back and visits VW. "This one please" he's offered coffee and a seat. Paperwork done. "Yours in a week sir" it was pulled from display there and then. He had a call from his wife at work to say flowers and champers had come from VW. He now has his new van albeit collection was cancelled as they preferred to deliver it themselves. Ford 0, VW 1
