After 4 months wait just about to have replacement windscreen fitted. Now have even larger crack in original but am tempted not to fit the new windscreen and soldier on over winter (intend to do about 6 trackdays and not much else) as will probably sell car in Spring. I suspect selling car will be difficult in the Spring if I crack windscreen again and cannot quickly source a replacement.
Any thoughts?

PS I do not trailer car so do not want to fit aeroscreen....

Why have you had to wait so long for a new screen? I had mine done by Autoglass in three days. They also left me with the old frame spare and said they would put basic glass in it for 70 quid which would take 4-5 days.

Brilliant answer. Auto glass could not source replacement screen and still unavailable on caterham site. I'm not due to have it fitted for 2 weeks but it will be interesting to see what they actually have.

Fit it and if it cracks deduct the cost of replacement from any subsequent sale.
