Fastest Tesla yet 0-60 in 3.2 sec... the Model D

There's now a more PH friendly Tesla Model S the P85D with 0-60 in 3.2 sec. Initially I thought Model D was the name of there new Midsize car but it appears to be a Model S+

Strangely all the news paper articles are focused on its "ground breaking" speed sign recognition tech, something that BMW came up with in the 2008 7 Series. Combined with the other updates it just about brings the Model S in line with other luxury barges.

That's something you can't easily do with a petrol car - "hmm, it's not fast enough, lets just shove another engine in" (unless you're Mercedes with the A-class).
