Where can I buy BBQ briquettes over the winter?
Discussion
Hi Chaps,
I ran out of briquettes a couple of weeks ago after just discovering how amazing beer can chicken is!
Where do you guys source your briquettes out of the BBQ season?
I popped past my nearest Dobbies and it's already converted in to a cinnamon scented santa's grotto with all the Weber stock gone!
Cheers!

I sell them year round even in the highlands. Any decent independent shop should be malleable to a request for reasonable quantities. Such as 1 case of lumpwood or briquettes, which equates to 4x5kg bags.
Most wholesalers will still have supplies and deliver in 1x4 quantities, so when you're told no there's no demand just let them know you'll take all four so that they know they're not going to lose out.
Oh and if you're paying more than £6-£7 a bag they're taking the mick
