Spigot bearing

Having some fun and games re assembling my clutch/flywheel/gearbox,all self inflicted,got the gearbox pushed home a treat only to find I had forgotten to fit the spigot bearing. Now it doesn't want to go back in with the bearing fitted to the input shaft of the gearbox. I'm guessing that the spigot needs to be fitted before the clutch.
Guess i'll be taking it apart again.
However,i have been looking round at spigot bearings and have seen one for a sierra cosworth with the t5 box that has needle rollers inside the bronze bush,does anyone know if that would work with a tvr?

Different size I'm afraid; hope I'm wrong but don't think there is a needle alternative for our cars

Pupp,cheers for that,i suspected as much as I cant find any threads where someone has already done it.

If I can save anyone any pain in the future,the spigot bearind needs to be fitted BEFORE the clutch,i know this because I have just removed the gearbox,bell housing and clutch again,bearing is too big to fit through the splines of the friction plate.

Time for a beer.
