964 Targa

I'm looking at a 964 Targa late model.
What should I look out for?

All the usual 964 areas, front scuttle, top of front wings, around shark fins, rear wheel/bumper areas, oil leaks, etc., plus condition/fit of roof. Also check roof/body/windscreen seal condition. Refurb kits are available for roof liner, but outside needs to be in good nick. Forget about sourcing a new one, as even if available, cost is several thousand.
Some roof adjustment is possible if excessive wind noise at front edge. Get a good one and they are a great car.
