Lots of tall ships in the Solent at the moment?

Seems to be lots of square rigger activity around the Solent at the moment, any one know of a reason?

Is Legmaster still around? He'd know.

I'd guess they are leftovers from the Tall Ships Race which finished In Greenwich a few weeks back. We had a load of them moored in the harbour in Ramsgate for a while.

Yup I'm still here.

There is a few about at the moment. My two ships are about the Solent now just finishing off their UK seasons before heading South to the warm.

The Stavros is about too, though off to Liverpool soon. The Earl of Pembrooke was berthed at Solent refit for a while, not sure if she's still about.
