Must be a fairly common one but search is bringing nothing up...

Does anyone have a recommendation for a glue for the interior carpet? Top edge of the helmet holder carpet trim has come a bit loose and just needs tacking back into place.

Thanks.

Evo Stik carpet adhesive works just fine.

Halfords do a Loctite spray glue. I used it on my Defenders head lining and it worked very well. The only thing I would say is you need to hold or clamp the item for some time to assist the glue as it sets.

No nails. or equivalent
I did my roof lining with that after trying many other products that were designed for that job but they all failed. Someone on here suggested no nails and it worked a treat smile

As per N7, Wickes flooring adhesive that I had leftover from some house DIY seems to do the job well enough.

Evo stick impact adhesive is the right stuff, you can get it from B&Q. Avoid spray glues.

Tried the Evo impact and it didn't seem to last long enough. frown
The advice on spray adhesives is spot on. You must wear gloves or you will spend an hour pulling rubbery snot like bits off your fingers.

Another vote for spray, try brushing it on to both sides of the car, the sound deadening and then the carpet (like I did).

You'll go for the spray every time! laugh

Yeah and I like rolling the rubbery bits and flicking them too....
