Independent Financial Advisors?

Are there any Independent Financial Advisors floating about here who might know a thing or two about income protection insurance?

I'm finding that the more I look into this, the more complex and utterly insane it seems to be.


ETA: It's unemployment cover I want to investigate!

He's in the process of sorting new policies for my wife and I at the moment.

The stuff I need to work out is the unemployment protection.
