Sorry I posted that from my better half's ipad...just Dave, over the years a 'casual' oh I work on spitfires ..the painter I think said he had worked on them for 20 years and painted 10! he thought!! Dave took me out at Cadwell years ago in the S and he could of been reading a broadsheet through the corners and then steaming down the straights, lapping as quick as anything that was supposed to BE quick.

Bernard, Dave Smith who features in the show has a very sorted 3000S with a 5ltr V8 in it.

I dont think its innacurate to say, many of the things people are getting excited about doing to thier cars now, and thinking its new, Dave did 25 years ago.
