Damn cleverish trickery
Discussion
Just discovered something a bit clever.
I can use the [pic] keywords to insert an emoticon from my own webserver into my post, and it works fine (obviously) when submitted.
If I then do a right-click and 'properties' on the resulting emoticon in the submitted post then it is indeed the URL of the pic on my webserver.
However, if I then do a quote or edit on that post and the Gassing Station code detects that the emoticon is byte-identical to one already in PH, then it replaces the [pic] and the URL with the corresponding :keyword: shortcut from the Smiles Legend.
Strange.

May I suggest you get out some more over the holidays Jon.
This may explain some of my posts today, including this one.
