Hi
Looking to compare quotes with other 360CS owners in London for Insurance.
Am getting a renewal quote from Locktons of over £2k for mine - garaged in London. Sounds a bit mad if am honest.
Anyone else beat that and with who.
Cheers

Guaranteed value policy I assume if you are using Locktons.

At a guess its the agreed value in particular thats causing the complications: £ 200 000 ? I'm sure all the other decent insurers (and some of the others) who get so regularly mentioned here would either be unable to cope with the value or be similarly expensive

I use Aviva Multi Car (3 cars, 2 drivers) - for both my wife and I
Range Rover Classic, R107 300SL, and Challenge Stradale (or 964RS more recently) all parked on the streets with Resident Parking Permits from RK&C

both my 964RS and CStradale were LHD - and so is my current 575HGTC

£1600 multi car per annum all inclusive

note: this has been more or less our annual premium each year for the past 5, whether my "special car" was a CStrad, 964RS, 997.1RS, 993 turbo or Modena. I guess the other 2 are not worth so much, but still not a bad quote

Not so long ago my 964RS was stolen from Sloane Square area, took Aviva 3.5months to settle, but they paid market value (bid side of course) so cannot complain.

Worth a call I say

note: Aviva, sorry I originally got my quote from internet, and then called to confirm it

the agreed value adds relatively little to premium , mine's insured for 200k and the change from 100k was only a couple hundred £

I think the LHD factor increases the price significantly.

Why? With the right insurance co I dont see why this is the case.

OP - Have you tried Adrian Flux - I used them for my LHD Scuderia and they came up trumps with a very comp quote...

Perhaps okay with some insurers, but I recall a past 911 which was LHD attracted a high premium.

LHD made zero difference when i initially insured it - i told them and i think their exact response was "meh"! Might differ according to insurer.
Adrian Flux were actually more expensive initially. Anyone got a good RM at Aviva or Admiral multi-car? Last time i tried Aviva not sure if i got to the right department but they didn't seem like they had much of a clue and price was crazy...and its not like i have any points or live in a risky area!
