I assume this crash was fatal? I know it's abroad but does anybody know the details?

It's already posted in the Youtube thread. She lived apparently, but not without serious injuries.

Scary footage, just shows you should never take it for granted that the slip road will be clear. Trying to think if I have ever put myself in the same situation. Quite possibly have when I was younger.

Ah, sorry, I'm not a regular in the YT thread. And yes, after the safety of those involved, my next thought was "I wonder how many times I've done that"

From lane 3 to exit slip in one manouevre...limited visibility due to traffic...lack or prior planning leads to...ouch.

The Dutch and Belgians seem to be the worst offenders for doing this

what makes it even more horrible is the little pink rucksack bouncing along the road- makes you wonder if there were kids in that car too.

This vid has also been posted on a truck website I go on, luckily there were no kids in the car, I believe it was just their mother. Think it was lousy driving and she is very lucky to be alive especially as on the truck site there are pictures of what's left of the car after the smash.

I paused it after the initial impact and the roof had been ripped off like a can of sardines!

That was painful to watch. Very poor driving on her part, and sadly something I could see my wife doing.

Would have been bad enough even if the exit was clear, diving between two lorries like that...nasty to watch.

Whoa! numpty - she'd may as well drive with her eyes closed performing moves like that.

Lucky escape and good job it was caught on camera for A) the people invovled to show she bought it on her self if she had been killed and B) to act as an educational video to hopefully make people think

I'm on my phone so can't help much, but it's on 'trucknet uk'

Once there go on the 'uk professional drivers interactive' forum, scroll down page and click on the, 'this is how it ends' topic.

You'll see the YouTube clip and scroll down page for the photos of what was left of the car.

The standard of driving is getting worse imo, and I put that down to modern cars removing driver input i.e. automatic transmissions, light steering, cosseted interiors with massive A-pillars/dashboards the reduce visibility etc.

Some aggressive driving in quite heavy traffic conditions.

Often notice lines of cars on slip roads when travelling through Belgium and Holland. Often because they go to a T junction which is a nightmare in rush hours to get out from.
