Happy Christmas etc to one and all - the days are getting shorter now and perhaps, just perhaps we will have a decent summer in 2005!

Seasons Greetings to all. Thank God we have passed the shortest day now (21st Dec I think) so its all downhill from now!

Being Xmas eve I actually drove into work for the first time in this country today... last time was a year ago in the US!!!

Unfortunately, parking alone cost me more that the price of a train ticket and despite there being no traffic it still took me the same length of time...

At least I had a heater that I was in control of :-)

I've just done a job in London. 1 hour 5 mins parking cost me £11

Happy Christmas to all.

Looking at the size of the boxes under the tree, it dosent look like I'm getting a C6

Good news on the job VHR - and thanks for the advice on the motor. I spoke to Real Steel - they're sending me a catalogue. I'm kind of tempted to go the 383 route... if I don't just get the crank reground.

Did Santa bring any Vette related toys to anyone?

I didn't get anything Yank specific - but Brental you will be pleased to know I got an accurate simulator of London traffic - you can use it to practice your technique for getting around in the City - it's called The Getaway Black Monday. Oh, but it's for the PS2 not the XBox...

Did that include the congestion charge or do you still need have to pay a fiver every time you play it???

Goog to hear about the job Nige. BTW I picked up the official Le Mans 2004 book today. It has some great photos in it well worth a look......and Steve you will be pleased to hear that a set of ZR1 wheels are making there way to you.......at long last

Oh, er, good point. Aren't I supposed to phone up someone with my debit card details to pay it? Yes, there are the red circles with the c in the middle, but I think more of the game is stuck in Nottingham simulation mode. Lots of people seem to carry guns and shoot at you for no apparent reason... or is that like London too?

Wow - you get to play it for real tomorrow - or are you working in the bathroom zone rather than the congestion charge zone?

Given the debacle with the Ram, I will hold fire before announcing full details but it is running a 5.3 Vortec and is 19 feet long!

Glad to hear about the work, will you commute or is a weekdays in a hotel jobbie????
