Bit of idle time on a Friday..

So your long lost Great-Aunt Maud has got in touch.
Not only is she loaded, she's also up for some weird Brewsters Millions type of fun with her cash before leaving it to the local cat rescue.

You have £60k to buy a car. Insurance, servicing, tax all running costs paid for, including fuel - she's good like that.
At the end of the year you give it back - depreciation is not your concern, Maud will take the hit as part of the game.
It can be as new or old as you like, she is not concerned.
There is no 'I'll spend half that and take the cash thanks' - use it or lose it. Maud never liked half-measures.
You can't buy multiple cars with the £60k - just the one. But you can still have whatever cars you run now, you don't have to use this one everyday.

The old girl is a shrewd negotiator, so if you set your search up to £65k she'll make it happen.

So, go shopping and be polite to your fellow PHers by providing a picture and link to your particular choice of indulgence.

I think I'd be tempted to go with this Lotus and blow as much cash as I could find on using every day off on UK / European trackdays!

£60k might just bag a Ferrari 308GTB? I'll try for that thanks.

I can't really think of anything new for £60k that I'd only want to drive on someone else's money. Usually it's either good enough for my own money or I'm not that fussed.

...That's an exige, no?

Pretty much bang on though I reckon.

I'm thinking look hard and see if you can add a year in the caterham academy to that. Far rather something "cheap" I could use to a garage queen.

No need for a garage queen. All costs covered so use and abuse!

I would say Sagaris too but there's no way I'd be able to drive one for a year and give it back, so I think Great Aunt Maud may have to be involved in an unfortunate shovel related incident.

She could perhaps decapitate herself whilst shaving?!
