Should I report this?

A couple of days ago a car appeared in the parking spaces at the end of my street. It stands out a mile, as its parked so shocking. Sideways over 2 spaces, miles out from the kurb. Parking here is tight as it is.

Its been sat there for a couple of days now. It looked a bit rough (damaged, different panel, more damage etc), so I just had a nose around it. No tax disc, but there are several old ones over the dash board so there might one amongst the lot somewhere. No obvious sign of being broken into, but in the footwell is a screwdriver and glove. Interestingly there was a key in the ignition. Doors are locked though.

So basically thats it. Is it worth reporting this. All I really have to say is it looks a bit suspect based on the above.

Sounds abandoned, call the council and they will likely slap a removal notice on it. If its not gone within 7/14 days they remove it themselves and charge the keeper.

Call your local Police in the first instance. They will tell you if its nicked or not.

If it is, then an owner might be grateful, but dont hold your breath.
