Help - winter tyres for 275/40/18 (BMW rears!)

In the process of sorting winter wheels for my BMW F10 5 series but am really struggling.

I am looking at buying either BMW 350M 18" or BMW 351M 19" for my future winter wheels, but trying to find tyres for the 9" rears (for either) is a huge struggle. The 275/40/18 brings up so few possibilities, and deviating slightly from that isn't exactly helping much.


Can anyone recommend any reasonably priced winter tyres that are available in both 275/40 an 245/40 sizes?

The rear size on the 18 inch 350's is a real pain - even for summer tyres there is almost no choice and it's almost exclusively RFT only as well.

The way round it is to simply use a square setup instead, which is more suitable for winter use anyway and gives you a far greater choice of tyres at much lower cost. Look for a set from an F11 as these will all be 8.5".

Thanks Fox, gave up in the end and went for some 328m which are 8" x18 all round, BMW sell them for the 5 series so I know they'll fit and the tyres are cheap and readily available.
