How to secure the best price for your car?

Currently have my car for sale on here at what I consider to be a fair price. Does anyone know of any other options to achieve a good price? I know the likes of 'we buy any car' generally offer lower than the market value. I was offered a good price by a trader against one of their cars (only £500 off what I owe as an early settlement) - should I also advertise on the likes of Auto Trader etc?
