Does anyone know where I can a set of these from? Will the factory sell me a set or has anyone had any made up?

They're the ones that the factory supply with the Spider wheel conversion. I'm looking to put some spiders on but I don't want to go the factory route. Just wondered if anyone had any good ideas before I look into it myself.

So if they are not the same pattern as on the Wedges - ie Mk2 Granada or current Mercedes then what pattern are the studs?

They are a similar PCD pattern but the offset is very different as is the centre clearance hole and other bits as the hubs are no way compatible....

Took me bloody ages !!!!!

I had granada cosworth rear hubs adapted to the correct pcd,I used granada ones as it seemed easier using a hub that was already 5 stud pattern.
The fronts were the original ones off the car, I was going to use peninsula front ones( they were having some made) this never materialised , so I had a ring welded onto the circumference of the hub and machined to a new size.

The wheels have to sit on a spigot ring, to take the difference between the 63.5(roughly) of the hub "boss" and the bore of the wheel

David, where in the west mids are you?
I would have thought your job opens a lot of doors towards getting this done?

Maybe mail me through my profile.

On this subject I also think Leven toyed with the idea of a 5 stud conversion kit, in fact I seem to remember they made one prototype. With TVR no longer interested maybe they will revive their kit? Rich...

The hub itself isnt that difficult, Had I had some spare fronts then my job would have been easier.

I would say the biggest problem now would be sourcing the hubs, I believe TVR had problems with accepting customers returned hubs for reworking.

I for one would love to be able to supply them, seems alot of people have the liking for the wheels.....

Out of interest what about fitting complete uprights from later cars? If the chassis is common, surely Tuscan/Tamora parts could be grafted on. Maybe the Cerb would be a better source - but I dont know the impact of the different rear offset.

The fittings are not compatible and involve things like inverting steering racks and other tricks to compensate for incorrect offsets, bump steer and so on. Neil anderson did it once before and said never again. The Cerbera/Tuscan uprights are totally different from that of the Griff and Chimaera.
