What's the most exciting everyday car on sale today?

Budget £35k. Max 2 years old. 4 doors and a decent boot. What would you buy that won't, after 6 months, leave you wondering why the hell you spent £35k of your hard earned cash on something you're now bored with.

Obviously it depends on exactly how you define "four seats" and "decent boot" but assuming you mean capable of carrying four adults and a few suitcases in reasonable comfort, probably something like a C63?

If it's allowed to be modified, there's some pretty mental VXR8s out there for that money.

A bit of a stretch, but if you could get to around £40k I bet a CLS63 AMG would be a good purchase. Or just wait a bit longer and they should get to £35k soon enough!
