Two laps of Monza in a LaFerrari on a sunny day.

Not driven particularly on the edge, but makes mincemeat of most everything on the track.

Sounds a bit like a Golf R in the cabin, but still worth turning up the volume to the max and putting the YouTube vid on fullscreen:

Lol.

It is a pumped-in, faux-howl, via a mini-speaker in the dashboard, to the R, of course. Likely, VW has copied various supercar noises. The LF or similar is a good one to copy, for sure.

Staggering performance differential, I've never seen anything like that. But then I've never shared track space with a hypercar.

Potentially dangerous in the wrong hands.

The quare thing on the end of the steering column looks ridiculous.

May as well have been an f1 car vs some pedal go karts. Seems like an accident waiting to happen on a track day like that.

What a awesome thing though.

Given the speed differential, that he didn't get stuck behind anyone says a lot about the quality of drivers on track that day.

LaF is bonkers though, hugely quick car.

It sounds odd because the camera will be mounted to the firewall...which is directly mounted to the engine.

It's not realistic of what you'd hear.

Well it's one way to blow your ill gotten gains and an excellent way to forget everything you ever learned about changing gear I suppose. But for me I'd far rather watch and hear a Lola T70 or a Ferrari 512M being driven by somebody who can drive an analogue car. And one thing's for sure - those cars have competed in a damn sight more races than this oligarch special ever will. Still, what's a million quid to impress some poor buggers on a track day - bargain .....

Was it really a track day? No helmets!!! Looks more like some kind of pleasure parade laps to me, would also explain the huge huge speed differences.

The bitterness is strong in this one.

having been round monza and knowing where you can brake and what lines you should be taking it wasn't just an armchair post i made. He brakes stupidly early on for all 3 chicanes.

It does rather look like no one else is going fast there for some reason, it's not just the performance differential...the other cars aren't even leaning in the corners!

The steering wheel is all wrong. Rest of it is mighty, though I would still prefer a 918

Don't confuse bitterness with having an opinion; I have always thought the current breed of hypercar are daft follies but if you think they are wonderful examples of automotive art that's just fine.

Looks like a passing challenge on Forza Motorsport.
