Suprisingly clean old Daihatsu..

Can't seem to help myself when some cheap, old, Japanese tin crops up.66k miles, all covered within the same family from new.
Has a couple of dents but isn't far off being what it looked like when it left the factory almost 25 years ago.It did come with 13" silver steel wheels, but a few of the tyres were past their best so I attempted to fit some spare 14" MX-5 steel wheels I had and it turns out they share the same stud pattern and centre bore.

Slow? Yeah.
Pointless? Pretty much!
Many on the road? Not sure, but I don't see many these days, although I spotted a GTi version a while ago.

Even has what I assume is the original cassette player still installed.A quirky little slice of retro (if you can class 1990 as 'retro' - to me it feels like yesterday)

That's cool retro Jap transport right there.
A mate's dad had a white Glxi manual a number of years back, I drove it a few times and it was surprisingly good fun. It met a sad demise when some drunken low life smashed into the back of my mate's 3week old saxo vtr which in turn collected the Charade parked in front of it.
I remember being more annoyed that the charade was killed, I knew the saxo was going to be replaced with another. Even in 2000-01 this gen charade was a rare sight.

Luvverly, briefly had a Honda Civic from that era, similar,automatic, fully functioning and reliable budget ride. Switchgear a delight for some reason.
