I've seen Febi discs and pads at an online supplier I've used a couple of times (Wanapart) coming out much cheaper than ECP's Pagid stuff. What's the catch? I thought Febi stuff was top notch.

They are fine, as are TRW etc.

ECP is just expensive dodgy st nowadays.

If it's really Pagid then it's unlikely to be dodgy. If you've got a 'normal' car then I'm sure the Febi stuff will be fine as it's more than likely just rebranded OEM stuff rather than chinese rubbish.

If you've got a performance car though and the standard material is Pagid or Ferodo or somesuch then I would stick to whatever the vehicle came with.

Last stuff i had was packaged Febi-Bilstein with the Bilstein logo, so should be of reasonable quality?

I always see Febi as pattern part quality. Not quite OE, but not quite budget.

TRW however I see as OE, since most of the genuine VAG stuff (brakes, steering, suspension) are made by TRW.
