The right hand side marker light cover (little circular light) on my 2007 Vantage has gone missing. I am just wondering if anyone has replaced one and if it is something I can do on my own or if it requires surgery on the car. According to my Aston Martin dealer the replacement comes as a package of cover, bulb, and holder.

Thanks,

Dan

Should be easy enough to do yourself.

Workshop manual says remove wheel arch liner, disconnect wiring, then twist repeater unit from the back and push out. smile

If its the same as on my DB9 (picture below), its a Ford Puma part which you can simply buy from FleaBay for approx £8.00 and it comes complete with the bulb etc.

You will need to just slightly reduce the size of the locking lugs (which is what AM do by simply trimming with a sharp knife and they simply push in and twist)

If its the wrong bit, I apologise and will go and sit on the naughty step for getting involved where I shouldn't. getmecoat

IIRC, those lights originally came off a Ford Puma.

(Which, in case you need to be told, will be a much cheaper option than the AM version!)

Thanks, I tried to twist the ld assembly to remove it and a piece of the inner white socket cracked off in my fingers.
Here is a picture of what I have. Not sure if a kid stole the cover or if it just fell off smile
