Someone I know has a 4 digit number plate when you put the number plate into dlva/autotrader to find out the year etc .It comes up as unrecognised and unfound (100% sure the number plate I typed in is correct) .How is this so?

It may have just been transferred and it takes systems a while to update, or he is doing something dodgy.
