Slip road traffic lights

Just wondering if anyone knows if you can get done for going through a red light on a motorway entry slip road??

Of course you can - it's a red light.

Depends if it is one that has a traffic light camera on it to catch amber gamblers and red light runners.

Anyone know how the phasing of them works?

Only ones I've seen tend to be on green for such a short time that one car goes through, but only if they're prepared for a race start.

I went through a red for that very reason. I just wasn't prepared for the 3 second green, and I just went right through without realising till I was already gone. No ticket though.

The worst thing though is the gantries on the M1. On Friday night after trudging through 20 odd miles of road works. The gantries suddenly read 60, then 50, then 40. Work force in road. One lane closed. Turned out none of that was even remotely true. Some poor dude got done going past one of the 60 camera's. A speeding fine for going a few mph over 60, on an empty 4 lane motorway, for literally no reason.
