Injector cleaners/fuel additives, gimmick or not?
Discussion
As title says, but more info.
The mrs car is showing empty on the digi read out when the needle points to just below 1/4 of a tank. The garage that serviced it said they couldn't change the fuel filter as it was a sealed tank, I took their word for it and they didn't bill me for a filter so accepted their
So I'm thinking of giving the filter and injectors a flush with one of the cleaners/additives liquids (redex for instance). But are they worth it or should I just run the tank to empty and then brim it with super unleaded instead?
Or would disconnecting the battery for a short while reset the electronic readouts? (I've heard/read that this works, but not 100% convinced its not a internet tale like charging your phone in the microwave
