Hoping a few in the know might be able to help.
Going to a gig at Leeds Arena next month and managed to get a babysitter for the kids for the full afternoon, so wife and I are going to take full advantage and make a full afternoon and evening of the time off.

Its not often I get into Leeds so I'm looking for suggestions for places to eat and drink and pass a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. Not looking for chain pubs and the likes, not our kind of thing, more independent bars and somewhere good to eat. Somewhere with a good atmosphere. Not looking at gourmet, more at burger / steak places. Meat Liquor looks good, any one been there or can recommend anything similar?

Can't say I was that impressed by Reds when I went.

Lots of places to choose from, what sort of thing are you after?

Bem Brazil on Greek Street. Took my son and his partner there the other week and had a brilliant meal. Its a bit different and both the food and ambiance were great.

Only eaten out once in Leeds for a leaving do and people in the area raved on about this Brazilian place. It was called Fazenda.

It was okay to be fair, they bring out different meats, like a new one every minute.

Highly recommended if you're a meat lover.

That's one place I have eaten at and quite enjoyed it. Would go again but was looking for other ideas.

Something like reds, bit of atmosphere, good food and drinks, nothing formal. Would consider anything really.

Again, looks good but probably a bit heavy when we will be bouncing around at a concert afterwards

Decent informal pub grub can be had at the adelphi too, similar to town hall tavern.

I've spent many happy, relaxed hour in there trying lots of different meats, cheeses, beers and the wine list is also good.
