I'd imagine most F1 drivers are a bit control freaky. Not having the wheel in your hands or pedals at your feet would probably make you nervous. Doctors make the worst patients and all that.

I remember that from Russia. It's amazing given how I'd imagine the sensation of speed is in an open wheeled single seater at 200MPH. I guess in a racecar you're strapped in a lot tighter and can brace yourself much better.
