Neat Google Chrome forum search trick

For Chrome users frustrated with searching the forums, a little tip:

Go to Settings... Manage Search Engines

Scroll to the bottom of the list and you'll be able to add a new search engine.

Use these details:

Name: PistonHeads
Keyword: ph
URL: http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&q=site:w...

Click Done

Now, open a new tab and in the address bar type in:

ph TAB whatever you want to search for

When you hit TAB you'll see the address bar change to this:



and your search will then be limited to PH forums, thus:

[DaveH23]

Handy, An alternative using any browser and any search engine is to type:

Pistonheads + custard test

The plus meaning it will return results that contain both phrases.
