Anyone know/recommend a place where I can order these from? We have a trailer that swaps between two cars; I know it's generally treated as ok if the trailer has a plate of a car that you also own, but right now it has no plates on it.

Thanks.

Rather than buy two magnetic plates, why not buy one set of plate clips for the trailer?

I use Velcro to swap plates on the trailer.

I don't trust magnetic plates. They can disappear depending on the wind and weather.

These are on my bike trailer, easy fitting (Halfords sells a cheap and cheerful Draper riveting tool) and have lasted just fine, swapping out plates is as easy as it ever could be smile

Agree on Velcro....

Halfords do this 1 inch wide black stuff in a role. Works a treat. The adhesive is very strong on both sides..

I used the Halfords velcro on the front of my Lotus and it was fine. On that basis, it'll be fine on the back of a trailer
