Left or Right?
Discussion
I guess I must have broken some forum rule last time, so let me try again in as politically correct way as I can possibly do.
I've been making some prototypes and I think the left one looks better, but my aesthetic team (wife & daughter) think the right one is nicer. Could anyone who feels like voicing an opinion tell me if they prefer the left or the right.
I hope that's OK, and at no time did I mention brands or prices, the fact the left always hangs lower or that right one is always bigger, or indeed anything that might cause offence. :-)

Can't say how much they are as I think that was why my first attempt as posting was deleted, but Tim is on the right lines. Tim, once I finalise and order dials and disks then I can upgrade yours as it already has the gearing built in it to support the day changer and new day and date disks.
'Panda eyes', I like that! I was thinking 'double 0', but panda eyes is so much better.

I get the difference in sub-dials however on my tablet's screen the watch on the right appears to have a whiter dial than the watch on the left, the left one looks a touch creamier. Is that the case or do I need to go to Specsavers?
If the dials are different I'd go with the left dial with the right sub-dials, failing that I'd go with the watch on the right.

yes, there is a difference in the main dial colour as well as the sub dialsIf the dials are different I'd go with the left dial with the right sub-dials, failing that I'd go with the watch on the right.

Regarding your offer of upgrading my watch, it's very generous but I think I'm going to keep it 'original'. Who knows, if they become iconic and collectible a 'series 1' Field Engineer might be worth millions
I think they'd look very cool with black sub dials on the white/cream main dial a la Paul Newman Daytona:

Gassing Station | Watches | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

I can't spot the difference.
