Travelled from Shropshire down to Maidstone today to view and collect a Jaguar S Type R that I placed a deposit on last week

Car was advertised at 89,000 miles which I was ok with as it had a very good history with it.

After travelling for 4 hours I was shocked to see an 18,000 mile discrepancy in the mileage, borne out by invoices and previous MOTs - actual mileage was 71,000

Made a really good deal in to a truly great one

Mine has been the more usual - advertised at 100k which I confirmed with the dealer - got there to discover 138k - needless to say I walked away.

I'd love to say that was an unusual occurrence.

Blooming dealers trying to seek you a car that was better than advertised.....
