More Sloane Street cringe-fest.

Embarrassing in many ways; people keep filming, the fact people go there just to get teenagers to film them.

on what planet would you get back into and drive off in a burning car? Not a clever chap.

Agreed but shouldn't happen though. This is the 2nd one I've seen go up like this.

Exactly what I thought, and what part of his brain did not register, fire in a car means switch of engine straight away and get out.

What components are situated behind the grill where the flames were visible?

According to his Instagram page the only damage was a melted grill, http://instagram.com/p/u5NDywm5Fb/ it probably could have been a lot worse though. There was another video like this a few months ago at a wedding where the car caught fire after shooting flames

any bets on how wallet-rapingly expensive that plastic grille is to replace?

showing off in knightsbridge is never a good idea, especially with 100s of cameras around. I now have to cringe everytime i drive on sloane st, living down that way i have no other way of getting to the west end than going through it and now its littered with trouble almost everytime Im on it, I see someone driving stupidly or kids darting accross the road almost getting run over to film something. I also notice the police officer in the video, so a good chance he will have reported that little incident which will lead to more hassle for drivers in the area.
