Hi Steve,

I'm sure I've seen your car at one of the meetings some years back - very nice.

Carl, love the excess of the your Noble, arches, wings, spoilers, not unlike the 70's & 80's Italian products.

Phil

great video, lovely looking car, shame about the black bra thing on the nose, hopefully just a US thing?

also think they look much nicer with the sides painted one colour like this, rather than with the black lower panels

Hi Adam,

I think you'll find that the 73 Pantera in the video has the mandatory 5-mph bumper rather than the European chrome or matt black quarter bumpers.

A 'bra' for the Pantera is even more unsightly!

Thanks Phil, it is a very nice example, I spent a lot of time and money to get it to drive as good as it looks.
The last big UK meet I took it to was the Bristol Italian Show, 2009 I think! You were there also. The only pic I have from the day!

I knew I'd seen it somewhere. One of the best GT5S' I've ever seen.

My car rarely gets a look from joe public as it's just a two door coupe with arches and a V8 burble smile

Was it really 2009? I got there real early from London and remember when Peter Saywell drove in with his Pagani Zonda and parked next to my DT, people swarmed all over it lick

I need one for Christmas, achingly beautiful. Some one, some where, must want to pass theirs on to a good home biggrin

Steve,

Other than your S the other one I like which is very well known down-under is this GT5 which I'm sure you've seen before.

Those wheels are of course the nuts.

Stunning cars.

My Grandad had one from new back in the 70's but as normal back then very few photos were taken of his cars.... but last week we stumbled across one i will attach below.

Also we still have the steering wheel, which i dont really know why and also we did have the service manual along with some paperwork but that sadly seems to have been lost somewhere ...

That steering Wheel, which was only used on Panteras from 1971 to 1974 (roughly) could be worth a lot of money to the right person. Those steering wheels tend to fall apart, so there are not very many intact left.

You could sell it on that fórum, or list it on the US e-bay site. Or both - list it on e-bay and put the link on the Fórum.

The other popular DeTomaso médium is an e-mail fórum - you need to subscribe in order to post. If you want, PM me the link and I can broadcast it to the DeTomaso world if you like..
