I am bored of being sensible; I ditched interesting cars about four years ago, in order to buy a house, pay for a wedding and start a business.

I am now in the enviable position of being able to save quite quickly and would like to replace both of our cars with something more interesting.

I need your help in picking two cars as follows:

CAR 1

- daily driver
- comfortable on long drives
- newborn friendly
- capable of pulling a horse trailer
- sensible depreciation
- less than 3 years old
- less than 50K miles
- respectable enough to visit a client
- mother in law would approve
- £15-30K

CAR 2

- predominantly a toy, but may be required on days when CAR 1 is in use
- space for a newborn, but doesn't need to be friendly space!
- genuinely fast
- less than 75K miles
- friends from the pub would approve
- £5-10K

I have some ideas, but don't want to influence any suggestions just yet.

Thoughts?

Starter for ten. Swapped the budgets a bit but still not crazy overall.

Car 1 - unusual and tow capability. Respectable and refined

Car 2 - appreciating and wonderful
