Some of you might know that I've come up to Aston ownership from TVR . The TVRCC had regional meetings all over the country once a month. And we made many new friends all over the country. And I was wondering if the same regional thing happens with Aston Martin. We are on the Suffolk Essex border near Sudbury. And it would be great to meet fellow owners around hear.I am aware of the Aston Martin owners club.

AMOC has about 20 UK Areas, who tend to have a monthly midweek pub meeting plus other events throughout the year.

We are on the Suffolk/Norfolk border and there are a few of us round East Anglia. We can always set up a drive out and lunch somewhere on a Sunday?

Hi Biggriff. I guess that you are an ex TVR owner? We live in Belchamp St Paul on the north Essex Suffolk border. Yes it would be great to organise a run out and meet up for food some time soon. We have not long sold our beloved Tuscan, and no longer feel that it's ok to take the Vantage to TVR Monthy meetings.
Dave.

The TVRCC isn't an owners club, it's a car club so please don't feel that you cannot go to the meetings. We too sold our Tuscan 2 this year but we still go to the TVRCC meetings, with our DB9, when we can. It always draws a crowd smile

It wasn't the not being welcome, but having done four TVR's it was time to move on. It was the same with TVR Sprint magazine in that there was only so many times I could read about chassis restoration.

For me TVR has little appeal as a brand. Still love the cars, but there aren't any new models adding to the lineage.

+1 We still go along to the TVR meets, we go as the people there are friends we have made over many years and we go to see them not because its TVR cars.
I think they are joking when they ask us to park up out of the way.
Dave Vantage Babe (also ex TVR)mooted organising a get together in Suffolk but then haven't seen many posts from Ness since.

Okey dokey.y I feel better knowing that other exTVR owner's now with Astons still go to their old clubs. So we will be taking the Vantage to our local Suffolk TVR club in a fortnights time. There are already three other Vantages that go to Suffolk TVR meet.
And we are still fully paid up members of the TVRCC.
Dave.

Good chance one of those Vantage's belongs to Andy & Ness (Vantage Babe) and another may well be the yellow one of (I think) Simon ex RO for the region so you will be in good company.

Ah yes. I know Andy and Vanessa very well with the Black V8V roadster. And Simon and Helen with the Yellow coupé.
