In my youth - my watches were always digital cheapos - easily bashed and replaced.

About 12 or so years ago - I bought a Breitling Colt Quartz. ( Being a bit clumsy in those days - and having borked a few watches in my time - this seemed like an excellent buy )

I have narrow wrists so the compact size of Colt and it's bashability was a sensible choice.

Now - the more I haunt this forum - the more envious eyes I possess.
And - I'm less clumsy these days - and moving on from quartz seems a good logical step.

Now - I'm considering trading in - and getting something else - but the prospect of me rucking up to a dealer with "I really really don't know what I'm looking for - and I'd like to window shop for a good few visits - as I intend to hold onto this for a while" - may result in me pissing the shopkeeper off.

It's one thing seeing nice pics - another seeing things in the flesh - the touch, feel and if it feels right

So... any recommendations south England/ London area that wouldn't mind a frequent window shopper that does intend to purchase- but understands that it may take a good few visits and time to work out what I want.

Thanks
T

They have a mixed reputation, though and, imo, charge a pretty big premium for their city based showroom...

Worth a look, but don't fall into the trap of buying something without shopping around...

Of course, all their stock is used, too, if that bothers you.
