Winter hooning, that's what

Got home on friday and thought better not use the car till the festive drinkies are over.
Come sunday I just couldn't resist any more so I thought I'd go for a little spin to get the battery charged up for Monday....

5 weeks since I had clambered into the cabin. The oil, water, etc all checked. I thought, I'll just try it before I get the other car to jump start me... but... no, the old girl said bollox to that and started first time. Wahey!!!! said I but the bike gave me a few problems cause I tried to start it with the choke full on and flooded it

Still, not to be let down. Out we went on Monday for a couple of hours in the Dales. Very slidey and couldn't get all the power down but still fantastic fun

We did have a minor mishap in that my big fuse blew but it was fixed and quickly on the way again. (Big hand to Mr Fish for getting dirty on that one).

Fantastic

Sorry Andy, indeed a lot of doom and gloom about, so great to read your post.

In fact, I think I'll just go for a blast in mine to cheer me up....oh bugger.

You'll be back soon Graham.
You seem to be one of these people who can't stay away for too long.

Mine might be available after Le Mans if you're interested!!!

I noticed there was a lot of doom and gloom around. Thought about slitting my throat.
Lets hope 2005 is a better one.

ECT = Electro-Convulsive Therapy

Still used for severe depression and was prescribed in the past for the pathologically deluded!
Does it sound useful for TVR owners?

Now I know you're a mad Glaswegean and not a North East 'Black Dog' Calvinist I can excuse your (deluded) state of optimism and enthusiasm!!!
