Does anyone have any recommendatiosn for good restauirants in or close to Knightsbridge?

I'm going on a pre Christmas shopping trip with the missus next weekend. Harrods is the first stop mid to late morning so looking for somewhere not too far from there.

British or Italian food would be preferable. I'm not looking at a Michelin rated budget but don't mind paying for something nice lets say around £50 a head.

Any suggestions?

Been here a few times (http://www.signorsassi.co.uk/); never failed to disappoint.

Thanks that looks really good.

No prices on the menus though?

Try this, menu looks familiar but it should hopefully fall within your guide price: https://www.zomato.com/london/signor-sassi-knights...

They're pretty similar restaurants from recollection.

Signor Sassi's signature dish is Lobster Spaghetti.

We ate at Zaffferano last week

http://atozrestaurants.com/zafferano/

Great Pasta and seafood, good service , not cheap ,around £100 a head with a reasonable bottle of wine

Round the corner from Sloane St at the Knightsbridge end of Lowndes St so very convenient for shopathons

I'm now hungry frown

Yes...the £100 a head is why I didn't recommend it for the OP!

For £100 a head on Italian I'd be off to Locanda Locatelli though.

The restaurant in Harvey Nichols has a very good reputation.

Sorry somehow missed the £50 per head...that'd only work at at zafferano if you stuck to water and shared a dessert, btw if you don't order dessert you still get a very tasty small cheese selection yum

Thanks for this recommendation. We went there yesterday and had a great lunch.

I had calamari then crab linguini both of which were superb.

Lively place with great staff

Bill with a bottle of wine was bang on £100

Well recommended for a break from Harrods.
