I just got an email from Ubisoft saying I'm in the closed beta of this game from Thursday to Monday, but I have to work away all weekend

First to reply gets my beta key via PM when I receive it on Thursday

Checked my email and have a code and download instructions.

Watched a lets play for this, this morning, Guy was bombing around in a Ford Raptor, Looks a little arcade-esq, but Im looking forward to the Huge free roam aspect of it, A PH Route 64 Muscle car Roadtrip is a Must!

Played for around an hour, got booted off and won't connect, not moaning as I inow its beta. Will just keep trying...

I had similar problems,I think they acknowledge server issues. I restarted the XBone & got on.
Not too bad so far.Spoilered in case of VERY minor plot hints. VERY cliched revenge/crooked cop plot,looks like every other NSF game, crossed with Forza Horizon 2,with an even bigger map,and Burnout style slo-mo crashes. Not sure I fancy the "work your way to the top of a criminal gang" story,but it will be fun exploring. World looks OK,not as nice as FH2 but the game area is way bigger so not surprising,but even while racing you get a feel of the city,more so I reckon in free ride. Handling is pretty arcade like,the 1st muscle car felt very wobbly & even my 1st car,a 370Z, turns like a cruise liner at slow speed. The GUI is VERY complex & muddled though. But I want to persist with it...cant wait to do a Gumball style coast to coast race
