Ive taken the plunge and bought an early super sprint and when its not bucketing down with rain I intend to drive it to and from work..... there is an underground pay and display car park near by but im scratching my head wondering where to put the ticket??
Has anybody had any ingenious idears, maybe a lockable tax disc holder or something ??
Or would you suggest always erecting the hood?

I take a picture of it on the windscreen and most of the time I have an aero screen on there.
I have come up to my car once and saw a parking warden taking it off of the car, luckily I caught him doing it. Also someone next to my car took it once, so a photo is useful in that respect.
Or you might be able to get a season ticket?

Dorchester has quite a nifty arrangement - drop him a line, I'm sure he'll put you straight.

Do both, write number on ticket, then take picture on the car.

I usually take a photo and put it somewhere visible - usually on the wing mirror if I've parked up with the lone nose shower cap on.

I like the idea of writing your number plate on it though! I'll do that from now on.

Pay and Display Parking Ticket Holder:

Use a typical name badge holder.
Fit a Press Stud to one face.
Cut a clearance hole for the Press Stud on the other face.

Can be easily stowed on an unused fastener.

Always make good sense to take a picture of ticket regardless.

Another advantage of Dorchester's idea is that it can be used when you don't have wipers ie. with Aero's, because you can attach it to a tonneau cover fastener.
Works for me!

Hi that may work out in the sticks, but in Hammersmith and Fulham if you do not affix to the windscreen as it says on the ticket you do not comply with the issuing terms and I have had 3 PCN's because my ticket was attatched to somewhere else on the vehicle, and that was the fly screen as I dont have a windscreen. I contested all 3 PCN's and won them but the CEO's where I live go by the very hard expensive book!!! it's stress you dont need
