Evening all,

Have been with my current employer for just over 9 years, however the moral and current workload is taking its toll and I now no longer enjoy the job I previously did.

With that in mind I have taken the decision to go out into the marketplace and hopefully find a new role with a new employer. I feel taking this decision may mean my current CV, even though updated may not meet the expectations and format expected in the current climate.

Does the PH collective know of any services / organisations that could help to ensure it looks as good as it can.

Thanks

John

Rog007 on here is your man, he's helped a few on Pistonheads.

Had a session with him last month, huge improvement that has lead to lots of interest and interviews. He also helped me to re assess what I should be looking for and improved my confidence

Apologies, thought I had added before pressing submit.

Started in Engineering within High Voltage. Did 6.5 years travelling around the UK.

Moved into Procurement / Supply Chain about 2.5 years ago.

I am no CV expert and I know reviewing CVs is a very personal experience, but if you want to PM your CV I can provide my personal feedback.

I am an Engineering Manager for a small firm, but have reviewed plenty of CVs over the years. My view is obviously not gospel, but I know what I like and what catches my attention.

What type of role are you looking at going for? Engineering, procurement?

Thanks Gary. And yes, more than happy to provide some feedback OP if you want to pass your CV across.

I found the book "the Elevator Pitch" useful for job applications/interviews etc.
