Wheel studs

After fitting 5mm spacers on the front it seems to steer better and stays in a straight line .

The aim was to buy 8 50mm studs (from under the shoulder) I managed to get 55mm studs but the spline seems larger than the originals and they don`t want to go in .I`m wondering if they are cheap quality .. The number stamped on the top is 10.9 that might be the standard .

Do these have to be pressed in ? The reard which were replaced last year just pulled in by using a open ended wheel nut .

I have 8 full turns but have been told i need twelve ,should i fit the originals and forget cheers

those should be fine, 13mm splines are correct.
I've changed mine loads of times (different spacers) and they always just pull in with lots of force and open ended nuts. Are they not going in fully or not at all?

10.9 is the tensile strength rating of the parent material, 1000MPa UTS with 900 or 940 MPa yield

I had another go tonight ,after cleaning the spline they pulled in nicely. What did worry me is they are very different in design and they have a longer spline .

Is the standard of the bolt up to the OE ones`s? another thing is they are a different colour ,just hope they are up to it cheers
