Its a 1971 Maserati Ghibli 4.9 SS Spyder.

Amongst road cars, I think I'd go for a 206 Dino in yellow.

The Cord is just an amazing looking thing. Striking, but not beautiful though.

It's a cliché, but I'm going with E-Type convertible, closely followed by 308GTB.

Honestly? I know it's a great car but can you objectively say that you believe this to be the best looking car of all time?

I imagine in an hour or so we'll have some teenager putting on some awful Japanese tat from the 90s, but I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Convince me otherwise. I have an open mind. I like the clean lines, the curves and the way it looks like it could take your head off without warning. I'm always attracted to the British classic sports car shape. For example the E Type, Triumph Spitfire and Stag always have me drooling but as my car history started in the late 70's and early 80's I have an aversion to chrome so I would probably ruin them by removing it all. Some of the cars posted are "interesting" but I'm not sure they really strike me as beautiful. The Dino is a bit too Jetsons for my taste but certainly makes a statement.

Edit

The Alfa 33 Tipo Stradale is causing a trouser reaction.
